Yèfevî-dême Fêqê (/jèˈfevɪ/ /ˈdɘme/ [central] [metro]) is a subtropical Town located in the Vyirukrtmakha Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Yèfevî-dême Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Yèfevî-dême Fêqê was founded by Zesêyeg̈m Êbëmesí, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Yèfevî-dême Fêqê receives an average of 208 cm/y (81 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Yèfevî-dême Fêqê covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1946 m (6384 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê was founded durring the early 14th century in spring of the year 1329, by Zesêyeg̈m Êbëmesí. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yèfevî-dême Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of spacious packed earth streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The timber-based walls have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Yèfevî-dême Fêqê’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

Civic Infrastructure

Cultural Notes

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê's locals are divided into several castes. They may be organized by social role, by imputed nobility of birth, by ethnic origins, or any other dividing principle, but they cannot imagine any other way of organizing themselves. A hierarchy of castes is not inevitable, but there will be social and legal limits applied to ensure that each caste remains fixed in its function. The outside world may or may not respect these distinctions when dealing with the locals.

Yèfevî-dême Fêqê's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

In Yèfevî-dême Fêqê sometimes, near one of the seasonal solstices, the sun appears to split into three and it rains from a clear sky for several hours.
